tr-dogrulama

Checksum validators for Turkish identity/tax numbers and IBANs, plus structural Turkish phone number format checking. Zero dependencies. No network calls. No API key.

Install

npm install tr-dogrulama

Requires Node.js >=20. This package is ESM-only — require() is not supported.

Honesty notes

Turkish phone numbers have no official check digit, so this is a format check only.

This package never calls NVI/KPS, GIB or an HLR lookup; it only computes checksums locally.

IBAN coverage

Supported IBAN countries: TR, NL, DE, GB, FR, ES, IT, BE, IE, PL. Other countries return false (not validated, not "invalid").
