Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

TypeScript to JavaScript Converter

A command-line tool to convert TypeScript (.ts) and TSX (.tsx) files to JavaScript (.js) and JSX (.jsx) files.

Features

  • Converts TypeScript/TSX files to JavaScript/JSX while preserving code structure
  • Supports both single file and directory conversion

Usage

Run the tool using Node.js:

npx ttj [options]

Options

  • -d, --dir <directory>: Specify directory to convert (defaults to current working directory)
  • -f, --file <file>: Convert a single file
  • -r, --dry-run: Preview files that would be converted without making changes
  • -v, --verbose: Show detailed output
  • -V, --version: Display version number
  • -h, --help: Display help information

Examples

Convert a single file:

npx ttj -f src/index.ts

Convert all files in a directory:

npx ttj -d src

Dry run to preview conversions:

npx ttj -d src --dry-run

Verbose output:

npx ttj -d src --verbose
