Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

What is tzlib ?

It provides extension methods on javascript Array. 
Some methods are replica of linq in .Net (C#).

Function Documentation :

first()


Returns first elements of an array.

function first() {
    let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(2);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(4);
  console.log(numArray.first());  // This will print 3

}

last()


Returns last elements of an array.

function last() {
    let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(2);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(4);
  console.log(numArray.last());  // This will print 4

}

clear()


Remove all elements from an array.

function clear() {
    let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(2);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(4);
  console.log(numArray.clear());  // This will print []

}

where(predicate)


Returns subset of source Array that satisfies predicate.

function where() {
    let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(2);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(4);
  console.log(numArray.where(ele => ele > 10));  // This will print 100
  console.log(numArray.where(ele => ele === 3)); // This will print 3

addRange()


Returns Array which is superset of two arrays.

function addRange() {
    let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(2);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(4);

    const augArray = [5,6,];

  console.log(numArray.addRange(augArray));  // This will print 3,100,2,10,4,5,6

removeRange()


Returns first elements of an array.

function removeRange() {
    let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(2);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(4);

  console.log(numArray.removeRange(2,2));  // This will print 2,10

}

strictSort()


Sorts array for both number & String.

function strictSort() {
    let sArray = new Array<number>();
        sArray.push('IronMan');
        sArray.push('Thor');
        sArray.push('Captain America');
        sArray.push('Hulk');

  console.log(numArray.strictSort);  
  
  // This will print : Captain America, Hulk, IronMan, Thor

let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(2);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(4);

 console.log(numArray.strictSort);  
 // This will print : 2,3,4,10,100

}

orderBy(property,sortOrder?)


Returns sorted Array of objects determined by key. User has an option to select either asceding or descending order.

function orderBy(expression,sortOrder) {
    let sArray = new Array<number>();
        sArray=  [{ Name: 'Tony Stark', Alias: 'Iron Man' }, { Name: 'Robert Bruce Banner', Alias: 'Hulk' },
                  { Name: 'Steve Rojer', Alias: 'Captain America' }, { Name: 'Natasha Romanova', Alias: 'Black Widow' }];
  
  console.log(numArray.orderBy(item=>item.Name));  // Will sort array by Name property in Asc order
  console.log(numArray.orderBy(item=>item.Alias),false);  // Will sort array by Alias property in Desc order

insertAt(item,position)


Insert element at mentioned position.

function insertAt() {
    let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(2);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(4);
  
  console.log(numArray.insertAt(50,0,1));  // Will insert 50 at array index 1, print 3, 50, 100, 2, 10, 4
}

getMatchCount(predicate)


Returns count of number of matching element.

function getcount() {
    let numArray = new Array<number>();
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(100);
        numArray.push(3);
        numArray.push(10);
        numArray.push(2);
  
  console.log(numArray.getMatchCount(ele=>ele===3));  // Will return 2.
}
