Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

ua-parser-snapshot

This is just a snapshot of https://github.com/tobie/ua-parser repo packaged via npm publish. I've created it due to lack of updates of the original version package (which has been 0.3.3 for 10 months as of April 2014).

It doesn't contain /tests and /test_resources folders either. Therefore the package weighs just ~20 kB.


ua-parser Build Status

ua-parser is a multi-language port of BrowserScope's user agent string parser.

The crux of the original parser--the data collected by Steve Souders over the years--has been extracted into a separate YAML file so as to be reusable as is by implementations in other programming languages.

ua-parser is just a small wrapper around this data.
