Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Easy create body validations using Validator.lang!

This package is still in development, so it may have some bugs.

Types

string

Checks if the value is a string.

Annotations:

@minLength(int size) - Minimum length of the string
@maxLength(int size) - Maximum length of the string
@pattern(Regex regex) - Checks if the string matches the regex
@containsLowercase - Checks if the string contains a lowercase letter
@containsUppercase - Checks if the string contains a uppercase letter
@containsNumber - Checks if the string contains a number
@containsSpecial - Checks if the string contains a special character

number

Checks if the value is a number.

Annotations:

@min(int size) - Minimum value of the number
@max(int size) - Maximum value of the number
@integer - Checks if the number is an integer
@notNan - checks if the number is not NaN
@positive - Checks if the number is positive
@negative - Checks if the number is negative

bool

Checks if the value is a boolean.

object

Checks if the value is an object.

Array

Checks if the value is an Array.

Annotations:

@minLength(int size) - Minimum length of the array
@maxLength(int size) - Maximum length of the array
@item:(annotation) - Checks the annotation on the array items, this is specific per type
-- Example: @item:@minLength(5)

Global Annotations

@optional - Makes the type optional (has no default implementation, must be handled by the Type)
@custom(string name) - Adds a custom validator, can be added using Validator#addValidator
