Access lab VMs and Studres in 2 steps.

Setup

Note: You only need to do this setup once. After completing these 2 steps, you never need to run npx sta-ssh again—just use the commands below.

1. npx sta-ssh - Enter ID.
   • Folder STA_SSH_KEYS appears on Desktop.
   • Upload SUBMIT_THIS_KEY.pub to the portal.
2. npx sta-ssh --install <path> - Run once you get the email.
   • Tip: Drag the email attachment into the terminal to auto-fill the path.

Web Access (Firefox)

1. Run sshj (or ssh jump) in your terminal.
2. In Firefox, go to Settings => General.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click Settings... under Network Settings.
4. Select Manual proxy configuration: Set the following values as provided
   • SOCKS Host: 127.0.0.1
   • Port: 8080
   • Check: "Proxy DNS when using SOCKS v5" (Required!)

🛠 Commands

• ssh uni — Connect to Lab VM.
• sshj or ssh jump — Start web tunnel.
• sshj-stop — Kill tunnel.
