Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

MCP server for Starknet — give Claude Code, Cursor & AI agents live Voyager block-explorer data (transactions, contracts, Cairo code, tokens, NFTs, staking). No API key.

Readme

voyager-mcp

MCP server that gives AI coding agents live Voyager Starknet data — transactions, contracts, classes & Cairo code, tokens, NFTs, staking, events, blocks, messages and network stats.

  • Thin client over the Voyager API — the same data the explorer uses.
  • No API key. Runs locally over stdio via npx — nothing to host.
  • Mainnet & Sepolia.

📖 Full docs, setup & agent recipes: https://docs.voyager.online/ai/mcp-quickstart

Requirements

  • Node.js 20.3+ (npx ships with it)
  • An MCP client: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or Cursor

There is nothing to install or build — npx -y voyager-mcp downloads and runs the server.

Setup

Claude Code

claude mcp add voyager -- npx -y voyager-mcp

Or commit it to your project by adding .mcp.json:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "voyager": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "voyager-mcp"] }
  }
}

Claude Desktop

Open Settings → Developer → Edit Config and add the voyager server, then fully quit (⌘Q) and reopen Claude Desktop:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "voyager": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "voyager-mcp"] }
  }
}

Cursor

Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (global) or .cursor/mcp.json (per project), then enable it under Cursor Settings → MCP:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "voyager": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "voyager-mcp"] }
  }
}

Sepolia testnet: add "env": { "VOYAGER_NETWORK": "sepolia" } to the server entry. Windows: if npx isn't found, use "command": "npx.cmd".

Example prompts

Once it's connected, ask your agent things like:

  • "Use voyager to get the current Starknet network stats"
  • "Look up Starknet transaction 0x… and the events it emitted"
  • "Show me the verified Cairo code for class 0x…"
  • "What's the class hash and type of contract 0x…?"
  • "List the latest 10 Starknet blocks"
  • "Who are the top holders of token 0x…?"

Tools

~83 tools. Core (transactions, blocks, contracts, classes & Cairo code, tokens, events, messages, stats, L1) is always on; the NFT, Staking and Search groups are on by default.

Configuration

| Env var | Values | Default | |---|---|---| | VOYAGER_NETWORK | mainnet · sepolia | mainnet | | VOYAGER_TOOLS | none (core only) · a comma list like nft,search | all groups on |

Verify

npx -y voyager-mcp # starts the server on stdio (Ctrl+C to exit)

No API key required. Data comes from the Voyager API over HTTPS.
