Ethereum JavaScript API

This is the Ethereum compatible JavaScript API which implements the Generic JSON RPC spec. It's available on weex.

You need to run a local Ethereum node to use this library.

Installation

Node.js

npm install web3-for-weex --save

Usage

import Web3 from 'web3-for-weex';

Set a provider (HttpProvider)

if (typeof web3 !== 'undefined') {
  web3 = new Web3(web3.currentProvider);
} else {
  // set the provider you want from Web3.providers
  web3 = new Web3(new Web3.providers.HttpProvider("http://localhost:8545"));
}

Set a provider (HttpProvider using HTTP Basic Authentication)

web3.setProvider(new web3.providers.HttpProvider('http://host.url', 0, BasicAuthUsername, BasicAuthPassword));

There you go, now you can use it:

var coinbase = web3.eth.coinbase;
var balance = web3.eth.getBalance(coinbase);
