Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

wintersmith-robotskirt

Robotskirt plugin for Wintersmith. It will render Markdown content using Robotskirt. Code highlighting is done via highlight.js.

Requirements

This repo is meant to be used as a plugin for Wintersmith-generated websites. To use this plugin, simply setup a wintersmith website and follow the setup instructions below.

Setup

Setting up the plugin is very simple:

npm install wintersmith-robotskirt

Alternatively, you can define the plugin as a dependency in your package.json file and run:

npm install

In your config.json file, you must define the location of the plugin:

Configuration

You may configure how robotskirt parses the Markdown content using Robotskirt extensions. Simply define the extensions you wish to use in config.json as follows:

You may also configure how the HTML renderer outputs your html files. Identify the flags you need in config.json:

If you wish to enable Smartypants, add the following to config.json:

Usage

After doing the initial setup and configuration, your wintersmith builds will automatically use Robotskirt to render html pages.
