Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

Workmaps

Workmaps is a git-backed YAML work tracker for constraint-driven planning. It keeps work items and diagram views in plain files so humans, editors, and AI agents can collaborate without hidden database state.

npx workmaps init
npx workmaps dev
npx workmaps validate
npx workmaps skill
npx workmaps docs

Workspaces store durable state under .workmaps/.

The local server is editable. Use --port, --host, and --hmr-port to adjust the dev server binding:

npx workmaps dev --port 5188 --host 127.0.0.1 --hmr-port 5189

For shared read-only publishing, build the repository's static app and export workmaps-data.json for GitHub Pages.

[email protected] adds Mermaid markdown previews, invalid-view sidebar signals, and smaller UI polish fixes.
