Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

A library providing secure access to remote resources without having to expose them to the open internet.

The idea here is to provide a secure alternative to adjusting infrastructure to say make an on premises database available to a VPC for a proof of concept, which involves exposing the database to the open internet or building a dedicated tunnel to the VPC. Instead an engineer can setup a local agent with access to the on premises database, and an origin server on the remote VPC. from there the local agent can register itself with the origin server, and the origin server can start forwarding commands for the agent to fulfill.

Right now this library is more of a proof of concept, but will be fleshed out over time.
