Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

v0.5.1

Yeşilçam Studios CLI and MCP server: AI film, fashion try-on and Maket from your terminal or from Claude.

Readme

yesilcam-studios

Every Yeşilçam Studios studio from your terminal (yesilcam) and from AI assistants over MCP (yesilcam-mcp): Image Studio, Film Studio, Animation Studio (26 styles, Ink Landscape, Inkmation, Custom, Glyphmation), Cinema Studio, Design Studio, Website Studio, Website Promo, Assemble / Disassemble, Fashion Try-On, Maket and AI Influencer Studio (long videos, automations, Discover). Same account and credit balance as https://yesilcamstudios.com/app/.

npm install -g yesilcam-studios
yesilcam login # paste an API key from https://yesilcamstudios.com/app/account/developer
yesilcam account show
yesilcam image "a lighthouse at dusk, 35mm film" --tier draft --quote # price only
yesilcam image "a lighthouse at dusk, 35mm film" --tier draft --yes --out lighthouse.png
yesilcam influencer video --mode talk --influencer-id 70 --text "Hello!" --yes --wait
yesilcam longvideo plan --influencer-id 70 --topic "3 tips for phone photos" --seconds 60 --yes --wait
yesilcam glyph create "she raises her hand, then returns to the start" --image-path mona.jpg --formats html --yes --out mona.mp4
yesilcam glyph render <job_id> --cols 120 --color amber --yes --out ./amber # new settings, no new video
yesilcam glyph render --video-asset-id <id> --charset blocks --start 12 --dur 8 --quote # a part of a longer library video
yesilcam maket analyze plan.dxf # local, free
yesilcam --help # all studios; yesilcam <studio> --help for actions

Anything that spends credits shows a quote first: interactive prompt, --yes to approve in scripts, --max-credits as a ceiling, --quote to only price. --json for machine output, --wait / --out for long jobs. Exit codes: 3 quote not approved, 2 not signed in.

Prices and balances are in credits (since 0.5.0): costs round up (at least 1 credit), the balance rounds down but any positive balance shows at least 1 credit (0.5.1), and "is it enough" is decided on the exact amount. --json keeps the raw internal fields (total, tokens, balance; 1 credit = 10,000) and adds *_credits next to them (total_credits, balance_credits, charged_credits …). The 0.4 option --max-tokens (raw units) and MCP max_tokens still work with a deprecation warning; use --max-credits / max_credits.

MCP (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf …)

claude mcp add yesilcam -- yesilcam-mcp
{ "mcpServers": { "yesilcam": { "command": "yesilcam-mcp", "args": [] } } }

No secret in the config: the server uses the key saved by yesilcam login (or YESILCAM_API_KEY). --studios image, film, influencer loads fewer tools, --read-only only reading tools. Tools that spend credits return a quote (in credits) and charge nothing until called again with confirm=true after the user approves. max_credits sets a ceiling. yesilcam mcp prints the snippets.

Security

  • API keys: read-only or read-and-create, optional expiry, revocable in the app; they cannot delete the account, change password/email, pay, create keys or connect social accounts. Only a hash is stored on the server.
  • Credentials live in ~/.config/yesilcam/config.json (0600) and are never printed. yesilcam logout removes them.
  • Legacy sign-in with email and password: yesilcam login --password.
