zeitgeist-agents-mcp

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Zeitgeist Agents — gives AI agents read-only access to your projects, digests, and research runs.

Setup

Install

npm install -g zeitgeist-agents-mcp

Or run directly with npx:

npx -y zeitgeist-agents-mcp

Configuration

Requires two environment variables:

• ZEITGEIST_API_KEY — your API key (starts with zg_live_)
• ZEITGEIST_API_URL — base URL of the Zeitgeist API

Optional:

• ZEITGEIST_CONTEXT_HINT — a short description of what this Zeitgeist instance tracks, sent to the AI agent as context so it knows what data is available without having to call list_projects first

Generate an API key from your Zeitgeist dashboard under Settings > API Keys.
