Optimize Toolset

I’ve always been into building performant and accessible sites, but lately I’ve been taking it extremely seriously. So much so that I’ve been building a tool to help me optimize and monitor the sites that I build to make sure that I’m making an attempt to offer the best experience to those who visit them. If you’re into performant, accessible and SEO friendly sites, you might like it too! You can check it out at Optimize Toolset.

About

Hi, 👋, I’m Ryan Hefner  and I built this site for me, and you! The goal of this site was to provide an easy way for me to check the stats on my npm packages, both for prioritizing issues and updates, and to give me a little kick in the pants to keep up on stuff.

As I was building it, I realized that I was actually using the tool to build the tool, and figured I might as well put this out there and hopefully others will find it to be a fast and useful way to search and browse npm packages as I have.

If you’re interested in other things I’m working on, follow me on Twitter or check out the open source projects I’ve been publishing on GitHub.

I am also working on a Twitter bot for this site to tweet the most popular, newest, random packages from npm. Please follow that account now and it will start sending out packages soon–ish.

Open Software & Tools

This site wouldn’t be possible without the immense generosity and tireless efforts from the people who make contributions to the world and share their work via open source initiatives. Thank you 🙏

Zulu Republic's ZTX And AirDrop

1. What is ZTX and Its Airdrop

The ZTX contract is a standard ERC20 token. It is the token used within the Zulu Republic.

The Airdrop is our way of rewarding early adopters and seeding the Zulu Republic ecosystem with a free distribution of ZTX, no strings attached. During the Airdrop, the first 100,000 people to sign up will be able to claim a free ZTX deposit to their Zulu wallet, with no need to stake or deposit any of their own funds to participate.

2. How does it work?

Just by signing up with an email address and enabling 2-factor authentication (2FA), the first 100k adopters will be able to claim ZTX in the Airdrop. Once the Airdrop closes, people are then free to hold the ZTX in their Zulu Republic wallet, trade it on an exchange, and send it to other Zulu Republic users or any ERC20 compatible wallet. In the future, Zulu Republic Passport holders will also be able to spend ZTX at verified merchants and receive a 5% bonus on every transaction.

3. Why do an Airdrop?

Airdrops are often used by blockchain companies as an alternative to (or in addition to) conducting an ICO or token sale. Especially in cases where crowdfunding a project is not necessary, airdrops allow tokens to be publicly distributed without requiring people to "buy in" with their own funds.

By offering ZTX freely to anyone with an email address and phone number, we can align our distribution model with our core philosophy of open access and democratization, while also achieving the widest possible dissemination of ZTX.

Learn more about why we're conducting an airdrop here.

Pre-enroll in the airdrop by signing up now and activating 2-factor authentication. You'll receive a notification when the Airdrop starts and you can sign in and claim your ZTX.

4. Airdrop Statistics:

Total Airdrop Distribution: 100 million tokens Tokens per registered user: 1000 Airdrop value: TBD based on opening exchange value Start date: September 2018 End date: Upon completion of total Airdrop distribution

Smart Contracts

  • Airdropper.sol

This contract distributes ZTX in the token's initial distribution phase. The first 100 thousand Zulu Republic citizens receive 1000 ZTX.

triggerAirDrop is the main function that distributes tokens to recipient addresses. You pass a recipient and she gets the ZTX tokens. A user who claimed their ZTX airdropped tokens cannot do so again.

  • ZTX.sol

Standard ERC20 token contract. It possesses the ERC20 functions.

7. What is the Zulu Republic Foundation?

The Zulu Republic Foundation is a Swiss organization charged with managing the underlying technology of the Zulu Republic blockchain ecosystem. The foundation’s mission is to advance the development of decentralized technologies, to promote human rights and empowerment around the globe, and to reduce the global digital divide.

In support of this mission, the Zulu Republic Foundation is responsible for the following activity:

  • Developing open-source distributed ledger technologies (DLT)
  • Developing self-sovereign identity technologies (SSI)
  • Creating and distributing educational content on the subjects of digital security, privacy, and blockchain technology.
  • Maintaining and managing the ZTX token and reserve, and all Zulu Republic smart contracts.
  • Incubating and seeding initiatives, businesses, and non-profit organizations that utilize ZTX and/or its underlying open-source technologies in their daily operations.

Currently the Zulu Republic Foundation is developing an ecosystem of platforms on the Ethereum blockchain, combining solutions for both self-sovereign identity (the Zulu Republic Passport) and economic agency (ZTX token and Zulu Pay financial platform).
